While watching Golden Globes, one winner thanks his mom in his speech:
Mother: “So… if you were to win an Oscar, will you mention and thank me?”
Me: “No comment – ”
Father: (weak laugh) “No, he’ll get up and say how she delayed me in this path -”
Me: “No comment.”

“Your consciousness is worth a fortune.”

“No, I don’t agree, you are very successful in being Egyptian. I’ve seen you speak and deal with the Egyptian people [at church] and you are able to deal with them in a very real way. You speak well. Seriously, you’ve done well… you just don’t have that biting part which is not your fault [...]

“No, no, no you are the inspiration here. This weekend showed you doing things I never thought were humanly possible.”
